Is there much else to talk about right now than London Fashion Week SS14? The glamour, the glory and the gossip. If you couldn’t attend or hadn’t followed quite as religiously on Twitter #LFW or via The Hub on the page, now is your chance to catch up on London Fashion Week 2013 highlights.
The Designers/Collections S/S 2014 With so much talent on display, our job of picking our top five proved rather difficult. Here’s our best shot.
1. Burberry Prorsum
What’s not to love about pastel and lace? Christopher Bailey gives us chic pencil dresses in both. He also had some fun by pairing stripes with bold polka dots.
2. Topshop Unique
Great for holiday style – a very relaxed range of maxi dresses, strappy tops and trousers in exotic prints on silk.
3. Holly Fulton
A nice contrast of bold prints in water-colour shades makes this one of our top picks.
4. Temperley London
We can’t imagine feeling anything less than a princess in one of these dresses from the gorgeous new range.
5. Vivienne Westwood Red Label
It’s everyday, it’s beautiful and it’s Westwood – what more do you need?
The Street Style
Getting dressed for London Fashion Week is a trying time – knowing you’ll be surrounded by style conscious minds is nail biting when you want to make an impression. These ladies, however, definitely pulled it off and deserve a spot in our top picks. We salute you!
The Trends
Five top fall trends to come out of London Fashion Week.
1. Hot Pink
Cotton candy is no longer reserved for the fair ground, brighten up winter in hues of pink.
2. Detailed necklines
Turn up the heat by showing a bit of skin in a beautiful dropped cut.
3. Roses
Put spring into your autumn, by wearing something adorned with bold roses.
4. Suit
Prim and proper has never been this promising, so suit up!
5. Gold Plated
We’ve been in love with everything gold plated for a season or two now, but the Burberry Prorsum show has rekindled that love.
The Celebs
What’s an event without a few good ol’ celebs?
The Burberry Prorsum front row hosted the likes of Suki Waterhouse, Harry Styles and Sienna Miller. While House of Holland boasted Ellie Goulding and Kelly Osbourne.
Kate Moss was also spotted alongside Anna Wintour and Topshop Unique owner Phillip Green. Other guests at the show included Skins star Kaya Scodelairio.
And of course the beautiful Alexa Chung looked fabulous as usual at the Christopher Kane show.
Sadly, it’s all come to an end, but we get to take a well-deserved breather in preparation for London Fashion Week AW14.
