London is one of the fashion hotspots of the world. Playing host to some of the biggest fashion events out there, showcasing innovative designs that push boundaries. In an ideal world, you would be able to visit the city every time they put on one of the many fashion events that take place throughout the year, but most of us aren’t that lucky. A trip to London is expensive and the majority of people can’t afford to be doing it ten times a year, every year. London Fashion Week
The most obvious one would be London Fashion Week. The world famous, annual fashion festival boasts some of the biggest names in the industry. You’ll need to book tickets early, as it’s difficult to get in. The festival, which runs from the 15th to the 19th September is definitely worth the effort. Graduate Fashion Week

The fashion industry is a dynamic, ever-evolving world, shaped by innovators. For years, the Graduate Fashion Week has sought to find the best up-and-coming designers and give them a platform to showcase their work. By working with more established designers, these young people get a chance to mold the fashion world using their new innovations. The festival celebrated its 25th year this year and takes place between the 5th and 8th June. With thousands of recent graduates showcasing their work every year, you are guaranteed to see something amazing. Plenty of big names got their start at the Graduate Fashion Week, including Christopher Bailey and Stella Mccartney.
Clerkenwell Design Week
Clerkenwell Design Week is a festival that has lots of great fashion showcases, but also plenty more creative design enterprises to look at as well. The area of Clerkenwell in London has more creative design businesses per square mile than any other place in the world. That makes it the perfect place for a festival like this. Creative enterprises of all kinds, as well as architects, all gather for this amazing one-week showcase of anything and everything to do with the world of design. Taking place between the 23rd and 27th of May, the event celebrated it’s 8th birthday this year.
London Collections: Men
If you have a keen interest in men’s fashion, then this is the event for you. It actually happens twice a year so you’ve got more chance of catching it. There is one on in January and one in June. The event focuses on the rich diversity apparent in the menswear industry, and showcases some of the most exciting new talent, as well as celebrating the established designers that characterize men’s fashion.
